on US to Europe flights, going from IAH to MAD
Unfortunately, not in Economy (or Economy Plus) across the Atlantic. It is over the Pacific.
Indeed; I verified that it is free in Economy Plus for TPAC flights (I did SFO-NRT) back in May. Not sure if it's the same for standard Economy though.
I do believe that's still a sUA policy whereas on sCO they still charge for booze in economy plus & economy for Transpacific flights.
hence my question...
Qantas: There is a new 5th Freedom flight LAX-GDN and if my connections are telling the truth, alcohol is free on this new flight. On the 380 to boot
