The legendary Swedish mattress company is expanding their offerings from massive beds into something a bit more portable, starting with a travel pillow in their classic dark-blue-and-white-check pattern, made of 100% cotton and stuffed with duck down. Hästens is essentially the Porsche of mattresses, so it’s appropriate that their pillows are the Porsche of travel pillows, with a price tag to match: $110.

We've never liked neck pillows much, finding them fine for short flights, but total crap for longer flights when one actually needs sleep. What attracted us to the Hästens pillow, however, was its actual-pillow-ness and the fact it's designed by a bed company, and not by a travel gear manufacturer.
However, there’s more than just the softness. This pillow has several smart design features that make it great for multitasking travelers. First, it has a small strap on the side which means you can put it on your suitcase or backpack, but said strap is made of fabric and won’t hurt you if you accidentally sleep on it. The pillow also unfolds, meaning it transforms from normal, airplane-sized travel pillow to almost-hotel-bedroom-sized pillow. And, if you want to take the stuffing out, the outside of the pillow can double as a Dopp kit or travel bag. Even the most hardcore minimalist packer has to appreciate that.
