Iphone / Itunes & Icloud

    OK, so Ive just restored all my Iphone stuff from my ITunes account onto my new Iphone 5..... but Im going crazy with various settings. My biggest problem now is I cant see my contacts in ITunes, I could swear they were there last time I synched with my Iphone 4..... any ideas...?

    I'm pretty sure iTunes is just for media / apps / device management. For contacts, calendar and mail you have to go to icloud.com

    are they synced using icloud or google or etc?

    I have set up an iCloud account, but dont remember doing anything to contacts..... so was a smoking something when I thought that my contacts were previously on iTunes...?

    you should probably migrate them to icloud/google/etc.

    try plugging into iTunes & see if they populate.

    The contacts themselves don't show up in iTunes but how to handle contacts is partly determined in iTunes. If you select your iPhone in iTunes and then go to the "Info" tab there is there a screen asking how to handle contacts?

    Contacts were never shown in iTunes. There is a setting in iTunes when you click on your iPhone syncing options as to whether or not you want to sync contracts from your computer with your phone. If however you have iCloud set up to sync this option is grayed out in iTunes.

    Thanks... guess I was dreaming with the contacts on iTunes....
