    OK... my Iphone froze and I cant turn it off... the power button does not respond... how does one go by doing a reset of this thing...?????

    Press the Power and Home buttons simultaneously, and hold them till the phone starts over.

    It does come with a small starter guide. That is all that is really needed.

    This is pretty typical for Apple. I found a way to reset my Apple TV online without unplugging it (same for Ipod years ago). apple genius bar and telephone support said they didn't know

    That is pretty sad as even the first Google result for "reset Apple TV" is the Apple support page stating how to reset it.

    I have to do this with my iPhone 4 about once a week. The thing appears to be on and has its usual one or two bars. However it won't make or receive calls and all messaging fails. This seems to be a well-known resolution to a fairly well known issue with the phones.
