Upcoming itinerary will involve at least one of Aeroflot, S7, Yamal, or UTair and a connection at one of the Moscow airports. Any recommendations or advice with respect to either airline or choice of airport?

    Thx.

If you plan to travel to Siberia or Russian Far East, I would be primarily converned with equipment, rather than the choice of airline. It would be best to avoid old Russian aircraft brands, as they are often > 30 year old. Recent model Boeing or Airbuses have predictable reliability, with recent accidents in Russia all attributed to pilot errors.
If you need to travel shorter distances, I would rather go by train.

Among the Moscow airports, DME is the youngest and most modern & comfortable.
