My wife received the above - I have xxx'd out a few details - is it legit? The being asked to "perform tasks on the test site " has her worried about phishing.
Difficult to say, you should know, have you ever opted in for research @ Starwood? When in doubt call them!
If you or your spouse do participate, I hope you will emphasize the importance of having a group room booking website that works for different browsers including Google Chrome and that doesn't time out, as well as being connected to spg.com in a way that one can pull up meeting reservations details in a way that is consistent with other spg.com bookings and does not require one to re-enter basic information. <sorry for the small rant, but this annoys me and makes me reluctant to go through the group room blocks>
Corrected URL below ... improve the experience of http://www.starwoodhotels.com/meetings/index.html and I am looking for a place for a meeting and used the site to search for a venue and found several errors in just a few minutes. Definitely a work in progress.
Starwood Preferred Planner confirms that this is a legitimate offer for those who received it. Best regards, William R. Sanders Social Media Specialist Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide spgchampion@starwoodhotels.com
If they need additional assistance, we certainly have some willing participants. I used to be a SPP, but I don't think that I am currently registered as one.
