    A month before its opening, Sunrise Kempinski Hotel is revealing an inside look into its futuristic, nature-infused hotel. In about a month, the Sunrise Kempinski Hotel will be opening in Yanqi Lake, which is about an hour from Beijing. This hotel looks pretty amazing, and is based off the idea of the sun rising over the lake. It is near a part of the Great Wall of China and has amazing views of the Yanshan Mountains. According to the hotel’s website, Yanqi Lake, which the hotel sits on, translates to “Swans dwell on the lake.” Courtesy: Sunrise Kempinski Hotel The hotel has 21 floors, 306 guestrooms and panorama suites, meeting rooms, a spa, recreational facilities, and nine restaurants. The architects of the hotel put a lot of thought into building it. The rising sun, which is seen from the front view of the hotel, is meant to represent the Chinese economy. From the side, the appearance of a scallop, is meant to represent good fortune. The exterior was built from 10,000 glass panels and was made to withstand a magnitude 8 earthquake.
