Will the new premium membership prevent someone from peddling fake travel documents?
Come on, administrators, kick those idiots out!!!
I have reported a few of those posts. My guess is the admins aren't up yet.
I must've slept late myself, cause I missed the offending spam...
A whole lot of them...
I frequently report them too. Sometimes it takes a while before admins can get to them. Personally, I would suggest all posts from new members have to be approved once or twice before letting posts go through on their own but that's easy for me to say since I'm not the one moderating them.
all the spam is gone for now.
Ever wonder what it is like to fight this type of common Internet activity? Several months ago I posted this to the partners: "Over the weekend from Midnight Friday until Midnight Sunday night we were attacked on Milepoint a total of 6,104 times with various spam."
Lately spammers have gotten smarter with the style they imbed their trash since it is human driven/posted. We do have an upcoming update that will provide us with yet more tools to fight these fools.
We absolutely appreciate that our members notify us when they see something that does not belong on the friendly place for frequent flyers website. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Also easy for me to say since I'm not the one moderating them, but I think this notion makes sense.
Randy, Happy Birthday to you.
Are these spams count toward traffic to this site? if it is does that will be great for Ad. (Curious mind want to know)
No they don't count for anything because we stop them before entering. And we don't spend time fixated on ads like other websites do. We're comfortable for who we are -- united against spam.
