thought I would start off with a great CS experience this week with Hyatt GP...
I have had a ressie using a suite upgrade for about 6 weeks - but only 3 of the 4 nights I needed were available. As I was told the 4th night would not auto upgrade, I had begun checking back on a regular basis for availability. Last Sun, suite availability showed (after GP hours) so I booked it with the idea of switching it once GP opened on Mon. GP tells me there was a some type of error, and the suite type was really not available, and I should not have been able to book it. Hmmm... OK. But without asking, I was then put on hold, then transferred, transferred and put on hold, and transferred again - until I evidently was in the hands of a customer service specialist. Who was quite apologetic about the entire situation, and said he had the GM for the property on the line, who wanted to "make things right". So I am now in the VIP suite (which is definitely NOT the normal Diamond upgrade) for my entire stay.

Now how great is that...once again, Hyatt GP CS proves they are the best!

Great that they were so proactive and made it right for you before you even got to the property
