    nice, but isn't this an overkill with now 8 properties (inld the apartments) just only in BKK? Why not expand further to the north of the country, e.g. Chiangmai, Chiangrai?

    True but they only have a plan for expanding central and southern part of Thailand at this moment. Personally, I would like to see CY or MEA properties in northern part. BTW, in Chiang Rai, occupancy rate isn't that good. I think Chiang Mai would be a great place for new Marriott hotel.
