Priority Exit is as important as Priority Boarding

Seems like the cost for the airline to replace the slide is 100,000 yuan (~USD 16,073.68)

Reason for the rash act is ....

More of this and we are going need a separate board just for the idiocy of Chinese passengers.
Some of the stuff I have seen in airports in China and on intra-China flights just boggles the imagination:rolleyes:.

Chinese just seem to get bad press, most are slim, not seat hang over type.
    Small eaters,

    They do drink sometimes,

They are not good drives, and they do not know how to back a car up.

They are hard workers, and the do pay their bill, so for the most part they are responsible people...and they do take care of their parents, and support their family...

Be nice to the Chinese, for they will someday control the world...

They do not talk they shout...

Some of my best friends are Asian,

Not all Chinese pax are like that. Most of them are those who haven't received sufficient education and perhaps have not been outside the country before.

Most of the videos coming out from these incidents seem to have the pax "flaunting their status" with them saying something along the lines of "I'm rich, I can pay for this." "You think I'm too poor to pay?!?!" Etc.

While China's economy has gone up over the past decade. You'll still be able to differentiate those who got rich in the village (showing off) and those who got rich in the city. I can tell you from experience that most of these troublemakers are from the rural areas of China.

I have my share of good and bad "Chinese" experiences but they are no more different from my good and bad "Western", "European", etc experiences. The sheer population numbers from China ultimately means that even if only 0.001% are "bad" could translate to a large number of travelers whom you might meet. I think the world is full of different people and that is what makes it interesting and worth seeing. :)

Wow... no matter what, ignorance is no excuse for opening what is clearly labelled an "emergency exit" (although was it only labelled in English?), and I'm glad to see he's been arrested.

Fly intra-any country, long enough, and you get as many stories to tell over long layovers and free sake in a NRT lounge :)
