    I have tried 10 times and still keep getting this message. :(

    Please answer quickly as I need to upgrade my flights quickly.

    This is rare.... I hope you were able to call again early this morning and secure your upgrade...

    Are you an elite with AS? This would have probably helped a little...

    I was actually getting that message on the Gold line. I eventually got through on the regular line, although the agent told me that she was a Gold agent when she answered, and yes, we were able to secure the upgrades. :D

    We booked three flights yesterday and they are all now upgraded. I have one more May flight to book but it is currently so ridiculously expensive that I think I will wait and see what happens.

    Did you call from the phone that is registered to your Mileage Plan account? If so, the new phone system is programmed to recognize your phone number and automatically direct you to a Gold agent, even if you call the main number.
