IHG Rewards Club top tier name revealed
The 75,000 points seems easily done, at least in my case with 50 nights so far and I have 127,000 qualifying points plus 6 night carryovers from last year
....but no "real" benefits incl. free breakfast, upgrades, club access or early check in/late check out were announced, that's the real bummer IMHO.
Of course there is no chance that the new benefits will (Spire) "stand out amongst the others"!
And no mention of Ambassador or RA? I thought these were suppose to make us feel Special?
Just that Spire will be added to club, gold, and platinum.
Susanna Freer Epstein, IHG senior vice president of customer loyalty, said today: "The feeling that you’re recognised for being special is what IHG Rewards Club aims to deliver to with the launch of Spire Elite".
They "aim to deliver" but rarely do. so I'm not holding my breath.
We would love when IHG would start to "offer real benefits"....
I get free breakfast nearly every time I stay an an IHG property, which almost always is a HIX.
I do the same every time I stay at an HGI (or did I miss a typo).
I am now a Spire RA according to my profile. I have yet to receive an email telling me about the new program.
Maybe it will come by mail? You should also be getting an "Exclusive Choice Benefit upon receiving status". Curious to see what that may be.
Same thing here. I already chose the 25K points as a choice benefit.
