with the drop of the ruble, the 3 different hotels I stayed at were a great value

above average management across the board and genuinely great service from near fluent English speaking staff

the Holiday Inn had a VIP Lounge, free breakfast and I was upgraded to huge 2 room suite for under USD 100 a night

the Indigo had a free mini-bar, free bicycles, espresso machine and superb service for similar nightly price as HI

the IC in Moscow really could not be faulted, rooms were nice and staff were extremely helpful. I just think if a guest has paid USD 3 to 400 a night for a suite, they probably know when the Club Lounge is serving $6 bottles of wine

the HI and Indigo put their average namesakes in the USA or UK to shame with few exceptions
