Got an email stating cash back from IHG on Ebates is now 13% instead of 4.5. Always used them in the past when I did not do F and F rates. Can't believe such a jump...I mean, thats $260 on a $2000 reservation.

Does anyone know- I am pretty sure it is not possible- however is it possible to "stack" F&F rates with Ebates?

Somebody said that they could get this to work with the Friends and Family rate, although I am not sure how since you have to use a specific link for the F&F rate.

I've used Ebates for years & can't recall having any real issues.

That said, I am now more vigilant about following up on all cashback sites!

fwiw, immediately after I make a purchase I set a reminder in my calendar (4-6 wks) to check that the cash posted.

I just booked a 14 night holiday inn stay for a business trip starting next week. 13% rebate will be pretty sweet.

I was just about to post this. :) I love Ebates and Mr. Rebates. I have earned over $1,150 since January '09. Before I became obsessed with miles, I always used one of these two. I read that Ebates just bought Mr. Rebates, but they are keeping the sites separate. If you aren't signed up yet, would you consider using my referral links above? Thanks!

I had been using either Quidco @ usually 7%, sometimes 10%--until they stopped paying me via Paypal & requiring that one must have a British bank account to receive the cash. I finally bought something from a UK business contact by giving him my Quidco account :) . So I started using the VIA Preference e-Boutique as I consider a VIA point worth 10 cents.
But this is even better + I already belong to Ebates!

Probably not, Casey! With C&P you will in fact buy points from the Holiday Inn Website, not spend money at the hotel. Depends on whether it will register as Holiday Inn spending @ Ebates.

    O
Only ended up staying 12 nights on business and my ebates rebate just posted for $198.00. Note the rebate is only on the nightly room rate. I had few meals and incidentals but they didn't count. I however did get about 30K points including the 500 bonus points per night which I will double up on my next stay at another brand this weekend (which also qualifies for the $100 air credit). And since it was a Crowne Plaza I also got 1 sleeve of Nike balls, 1 dozen Nike balls, and a Nike wedge. Pretty sweet stay!!

So a stay booked through ebates still qualifies for points? Cool.

Yes! it was my first ebates stay, and I got all the promo's, points, qualified stay credit etc...Technically when you click thru ebates you go directly to the ICH website and book thru them.

Looks like ShopAtHome (which I have never heard of, let alone used) has 20% cashback right now.

Trying to figure out how to book a friends and family rate using the cashback links at the moment.

Edit: back down to 13%, appears to fluctuate
