    Iberia has new baggage and weight policies for those who purchase tickets as of 1 March 2011:

    1) Weight per bag is limited to 23 kg / 50 lbs, and 158 cm / 62 inches total of all three dimensions.
    Bags weighing 24 - 32 kg (over 50 to 70 lbs) incur an extra cost of €60 per bag.​

    Longhaul Europe to / from South Africa or America (except Brasil) in
    BusinessPlus can check in up to three bags without extra charges; to / from Brasil the limit is two bags up to 32 kg / 70 lbs​
    Full coach (Y fare) - two checked bags up to 23 kg / 50 lb​
    Excursion coach (B) - two, except for US, Canada, Pto. Rico and Canada, one bag to 23 kg​
    Economy Tourist (Coach) - one bag to 23 kg​
    Short and Medium Haul (Intra-Europe, Africa, Middle East and Spain)
    Business - two bags to 23 kg / 50 lbs​
    Tourist / Coach - one bag to 23 kg / 50 lbs​
