Does anyone know if you get a full meal service on the overnight flight from IAD to LHR in Club World? The one that leaves at 10:30 p.m.? It's my first time on the flight and I'm wondering if I need to make sure I have a big dinner because I'll only get snacks, or whether I'll get a meal service.

Also it appears from BA's website that the Dulles lounge closes at 9 pm. Do you just mill about in front of the gate after that or is there somewhere else to go before the flight?

    Thanks much!

They used to do pre-flight dining in the Club World lounge, so you might want to check if they still do that and arrive a littler earlier. They usually pass canapes and snacks on board, and there is food you can order if you're still hungry (a trip report I found stated they ordered lobster bisque before going to sleep). They have various shops and bars in the airport if you're looking to pass the time after the lounge closes.

Milling around the airport when traveling in TATL biz? That sucks. It's not like you're leaving at 2am...

Just did that flight 2 days ago. Meal is offered but you may prefer club lounge. Why not eat a little of both. Very comfortable flight... nice flat beds. Club lounges are open late. No problem. Have a great flight!

At least it's a glorious terminal. Wish I could use it more often

It would suck, we're it true. But it isn't, so it doesn't.

Question - Is it multi-course, or just a quick meal offered on board?
