I vote for the CEO of UA to be named "man of the year" for all the bad choices they (as an airline) have made. As a customer oriented company how can you miss totally out on the needs of the most loyal FF and slap them in the face time after time? I could go on and on...UA used to send out an e-mail after you took one of their flights, I think they stopped doing so because they could not handle all the complains and hearing the truth.

Which are what? Also, who are those most loyal FFers?

It would appear that @Thomask is not happy with United, is that type of posting not encouraged on MP?

I believe the snark/rolleyes you exhibited is one of the reasons some came to MP from TOBB.
good questions, I've stated in the past when I was a 1K for years, while very loyal to UA, I can't say that I was probably the type of traveler that UA would want now.

Maybe they just don't like you anymore... I get an email survey after every flight, and a phone survey after every call to the premier desk.

When I suggested to a UA executive recently that I planned to fly them a lot less in the coming years the response was elation on their part. And I legitimately believe that it was only partly in jest.

I don't know whether to find that funny or disturbing.

In 2011 the Time Magazine Person of the Year (formerlly known as Man of the Year) was "The Protester". In 2002 the Person of the Year was "The Whistleblower". I'm thinking there might be room in here for other MileagePlus members?
(for the record, I've had continued positive experiences with United other than their tardy RJ's out of COS)

If you've seen his PQM and PQD stats, you'd know it's funny. Although they may also just be glad he'll be mucking around in some other airline's overheads from now on.

I wasn't throwing up the  in response to the valid points.....I just thought the "man of the year" stuff was about as useless of a contribution as the "DRSL" schtick.

Funny, I flew GF last month and didn't get any follow-up e-mails. But after changing a couple of things on the ticket, prior to the trip, I did get an automated call asking about my experience on the phone.
