I am going to miss AA Executive Platinum by about 10,000 miles. What are the cheapest, long flights on AA or a OneWorld Partner? Any other ideas/programs to boost miles?
    Thank you!

    ;)

To be honest, you are MUCH better off checking Flyertalk's Mileage Run forum than trying to ask for advice in this desolate place...

Sorry to be cruelly blunt, but it's true. The people are nice here, but the information content's a bad joke by comparison, nearly five years in.

I would follow The Flight Deal on Twitter. If you are in a hub, you should be alright. I have seen some great deals come through from AA lately.

    Unfortunate, but probably accurate.

MilePoint is a great concept, though. Maybe it's just late-maturing.

Well, being a "Counsellor" I'm sure you will eventually come to realize that the basic premise of your statement rests upon the determination that what you glean from Flyertalk's content is useful information. Mostly just a history lesson nowadays. And snark.

Not really. I get useful information from FT all the time. Here, the people are nice and there's much less snark, but there are tumbleweeds going through most of the comparable forums to MP.

You're really taking issue with my statement I suppose. And I'll stand by it.

You tell me, which is the more active and useful forum more regularly updated with new information?
