Apparently no more glenlivet in premium class seating. Just Dewars. It's the little things....

    Bummer.

A FA told me this week that Glenlivet actually stopped making the little bottles. That left me just bummed instead of bummed and scornful.

Oh, well, as their commercial/advertisements say: "Dewars never varies"! At least you can still get Dom Perignon in First Class on Emirates Airlines...

This is distressing after having convinced AA to up the count of The Glenlivet beyond two bottles and just in the premium cabins. Dewars White just doesn't do it for me but suppose it's better than bourbon! (Can't they at least go for Dewars 16, JW Black Label or even Chivas?) I too had heard the rumour that the distillery had stopped bottling minis...though strikes me as odd after convincing AA and UA into stocking it over the past year or so, unless the American distributor was just trying to empty its warehouse of overstock! Perhaps AA could go to Glenfiddich or Glenmorange and order up a few hundred thousand minis from them? (Or since they've taken on a small batch Texas distillery's vodka, approach Balcones' and get them to supply a better American whisky!)

So if AAs toilet paper manufacturer stops making toilet paper, they don't look for another manufacturer, they just stop putting toilet paper in the lavs? I'm quite sure there are quite a few single malts still on minis out there.

Make this right, AA. Deeewwwars doesn't cut it. It's just a tad better than McCormick "Whiskey" :p
