I love AS Northern Bites burgers...do you?
You know they taste MUCH better than they look! and, count me in as a "me too" in liking the burgers
(often waits until coach is served before scoring an extra one when in FC)
Note to self: fly AS more, QX less.
Next time I am in Y on CO, I need to take a picture of their burger and compare
The AS burger is delicious, I just wish it came with some lettuce, onions, etc...
The lettuce, onions and tomatoes would probably be McDs rejects
Yessir I love them burgers...very tasty and hits the spot. Way better than what HA serves for mainland flights too
Yes. Will take over the fancy-shmancy Portobello Mushroom Sammy in first any day! Even if I have to pay another 6 clams.
Excellent word choice btw... ugh- that was the worst thing I ever ate on a plane-
I'd rather have an AS burger than most of the meals I've had in AS transcon F -- and I consider AS transcon F meals decent, if a little light.
So, why can't AS give us a hot BOB choice in F instead of rabbit food? Yes, I know, the snack packs can't be offered, we largely don't pay for F, etc.
But all the Y BOB stuff I've seen (not just the burger) is BETTER than what gets served in F as a "snack" on the West Coast routes. Universally. No question. Probably better than the midcons. So why just do a smallish extra thing and give the F pax a BOB hot meal?
I'm going to ask this one if I ever get to go to an AS Gold Lunch. (It's been a couple years...)
BOB costs more then the rabbit food they are serving us in F AFAIK
True for west coast flights and midcons, but transcons I believe the F meal is $10 per passenger...
Correct- I was referencing the rabbit food on shortish flights. Transcons are decent, except when they approach 7 hours
Its the best part of the return home after a long week in DC (particularly if I can't get the AM departure)
They can have a few decent breakfast sandwiches such as the Hawaiian Breakfast one...
Hoping that is tastier than it looks.
unfortunately, I'm on the evening departure to HNL next month, rather than the morning flight. I suppose that means Teriyuckie Bowl.
Hey now... I was pleasantly surprised by that offering catered ex-pdx...
