I found another Delta Skyclub Day pass in my desk. Expires Aug 31 2011 and I definitely won't have the chance to use it. First person to reply to this thread gets it! I'll mail it out to you on Monday.

I can actually use it in two weeks - has anyone requested it yet?

(and good karma to you - thanks for the generous offer!)

  5. Is this still available. I am traveling to Narita and heard that the airport is not that nice but the lounge is.

Welcome to MP. Indeed the two SCs at NRT are extremely nice and well worth the purchase of a day pass if you have enough time to enjoy it. (Don't miss the beer machines.)

The front end and arrivals stuff at NRT Terminal 1 isn't very nice, although it's serviceable and relatively efficient, but once you get past passport control and security, it's quite pleasant, although I'm not very impressed by the shopping and eating choices.

If you get stuck there without lounge access, first look for a station where they give free alcohol samples as part of an advertising campaign. (I find one just past security more often than not.) Then aim for the KE lounge as there's a nice and quiet seating area near its entrance that looks pleasant, empty, and private, much less crowded than the area around the DL gates. If you're a Sudoku fan, you can buy some very nice paperback books of them (in Japanese but it doesn't matter if you know the rules) in most of the newsstands and convenience stores.
