I haven't ever had a TV in my mirror (I'm at the Westin, Calgary). Oh, I do <heart> cool gadgets!
I have seen this in Sport's Bars before but never in a hotel room.
I had it in the St Regis Singapore and also at least one other St Regis or W, I don't remember which one(s). IIRC, it might have been the St R Shanghai, which had a bathroom TV (I'm not sure whether it was in the mirror) which showed what was on the living room TV, so that you couldn't channel surf or even avoid commercials in the bath. In Singapore, a problem was that the waterproof remote was basic functions only, channel up/down and not much else, which was a bit frustrating.
I've seen at Hyatt Regency SF, but not nearly this large.
I've never had that, that is cool!
I had bathrooms where there was a little door I can open to view the TV in the living room. I also had TVs in the bathrooms, but just standing there...
I've had them in a few. Most recently LM Barcelona. Cool stuff ehh
I had this in my room at the Marriott Renaissance in Schaumburg IL.
The St Regis Atlanta has these.
Wow, I didnt know they were already making those. I saw this on youtube yesterday http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Cf7IL_eZ38
could be someone just watching you from the other side...
Yes, the Calgary Westin has had these, at least in their suites, for at least a year, maybe more. My recollection is it isn't really as large as it appears in the photo in this thread. Quite small, in fact.
Those Tv's are all the rage in interior design. I had one in my bathroom at the W in Hong Kong and I have seen it used at the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas. I hear the SLS in LA uses them and it is supposed to be really cool!
I had one of these in my room at the MGM Grand.
Had one in the bathroom at the Peninsula in Beijing. Cool!!
How do these work?
Hilton KUL has a small one. So does Conred HKG
Two-way mirror with a TV behind it.
They also have these at Caesars Atlantic City, in the non-ghetto Centurion Tower Rooms.
Summit Suites (aka the high roller floor) at Harrah's Lake Tahoe has them too
How would y'all like it if there were a camera behind the mirror, too?
Only if Elite members would have free access of other mirrors
St Regis Bahia Puerto Rico had them. We thought the speakers were less than satisfactory, poor sound quality.
Very cool, haven't been to a hotel where they have this.... Yet
Had one at the St. Regis Washington DC...certainly took me by surprise.
