I just received a questionnaire regarding my recent stay at the Hyatt Crystal City, in Portuguese! Because my address is in Brazil that might seem logical, but: 1) Marriott sent their updates to me in Spanish. They never answered when I asked why. The local J W Marriott staffers said "that's just the way they are". After that I stopped using Marriotts, despite having been Platinum I never heard from them. 2) Hilton and SPG send theirs in English. 3) Accor and LHW ask me what language I want. Hyatt, alone among US hotel brands, actually uses the official language of my country of residence. Great! I guess I'll just start staying at Hyatts more now! Anyway they're very nice to MPers, so how could I not?
