Last week I toured southwest Florida and stayed at four different Hyatt Places. As mentioned in another thread, one of the properties had a seasonal dinner menu. When I walked into the Galleria of the Coconut Point HP in Estero, FL for breakfast, for a moment I thought I was in "HP Bizarro-Land". Lots of guests who all seemed happy. And then I saw this: From left to right, that's French Toast, croissants with some sort of veggie concoction, and the traditional HP bagels toasted with eggs and crispy (!) bacon on it. Taking one for the team here, I sampled the croissant and the bagel, and they were actually both pretty good. I don't do French Toast, so no judgement from me on that. They also had the now apparently pretty common pot of oatmeal. When I checked out of the hotel, I commented on the unusual choice of breakfast items and asked if they always served this. The FD person said that they were part of a group of six Hyatt Places that are testing these food items. They've apparently been serving them for six weeks or so.
