Saw this article about the Park Hyatt in Chicago where the front desk can push buttons to request the elevator ahead of customers arriving at the elevators in the lobby:

My questions to the group are:

How many times have you noticed / experienced this?
Which properties have you noticed this at?
Is this only something you've experienced at Park Hyatt's or other Hyatt properties?

I've experienced it in my office building... except that it's a sensor. :)

The PH CHI is indeed the only hotel where I've noticed this feature, as we tend to come back to the hotel room often during our stays - the SO initially did not believe me until it happened about a half-dozen times ;)

+1. I have noticed it a lot here - and it always serves as a reminder of great service!

First I've ever heard of it, but I like it! :)
