    Hyatt opens Lexington Avenue property:)

    Hyatt has opened its latest New York property, a boutique hotel located on Lexington Avenue and 48th Street in midtown Manhattan.

    Hyatt 48 Lex features 116 studios and suites designed by Nobutaka Ashihara, with original artwork, woven carpets, tables made by a woodworker in Brooklyn, 37-inch flatscreen TVs, iPod docking stations, and a “butler’s pantry” (extended minibar).

    Lexicon Lounge on the second floor overlooking one of the hotel’s green roofs, and offers complimentary snacks and drinks throughout the day, as well as hosted wine and cheese evenings, and iPads available to borrow.
