Good evening kshahk (and thanks for the good question),

At this time, there is no method to redeem Hyatt Gift Certificates or Hyatt Check Certificates for any pre-paid rates. Any rates paid at the hotel (flexible rates) should be redeemable with the Gift/Check certificates provided the hotel in question is a participating location. I understand this is something sought after by our members, but at this time that policy has remained constant. I hope this clears things up for everyone, as I'm sure there are others wondering the same thing.

    Best regards,

    Evan V

Is it possible for Milepoint premium members to stack this 10% offer from Hyatt with our 10% offer?

I don't see a way to do this as we both (Hyatt and Milepoint) are hooked into the same ordering system. Pretty cool idea and one that we'll work on for Act 2—Hyatt willing!

It would be great if that is possible 10% + 10% and 5% rebate from Amex Open and get 20% off from ELITE
I will sell my house and start staying at Hyatt will be cheaper :)

    Waiting for Act2 Randy!

I understood that the GCs being offered through MP premium had different T&Cs from the GCs offered from Hyatt directly (as in MP's allow for HGP points to be earned upon GC redemption, and this is not the 'norm'). Please clarify if there is a difference in the GCs being offered through MP vs. Hyatt direct.

Just received my hyatt gift cards by Fed Ex, and notice that the "Bill to:" name is "Randy Peterson". The charge went through on my credit card okay, so I guess it is not an issue. Why would it be set up this way?

Easy: this is a custom program and to make it work we had to improvise and I'm the "customer" though you get all the credit card bonus and other benefits from the order. We take pride in figuring out how to make things work! It's not always easy for us but worth it for our members.

It would be awesome if that counted towards your lifetime base Hyatt spend - one could hope! It would be a small treat for all the work you and the MP team does to bring the MP community these great deals.
