I just got a survey from Hyatt pitching a cooperation with Amazon Prime

It wanted me to rate benefits like

-- Get Hyatt Points for Amazon purchases
-- Get a 25 dollar Amazon Gift card for every Hyatt stay

For someone who buys a ton of stuff from Amazon, I hope they get it going

    Did you receive the survey?

Did not receive the survey, no. FWIW, United Airlines already gives 2 to 2 1/2 miles per dollar on Amazon purchases, so Hyatt could probably work something out with Amazon if they wanted to.

Hopefully you don't have to use an corky app to get it going ;)

The MileagePlus X app is pretty painless for Amazon (I have never used it for anything else). Just buy a big gift card, add it to your Amazon account, and use it up over time. Easier than buying Amazon gift cards at the grocery store (where I would get 2x with my UA Select Visa).

It actually isn't that bad. We've got a PF Changs down the street and I use it there all the time.

Don't keep us in suspense. How did you rate the benefits?

The benefits you could chose from was (If I recall correctly)

-- Points for each dollar spent on Amazon
-- 25 dollar Amazon gift card
-- 50 dollar F&B credit for each stay
-- 25 dollar Hyatt gift card for each stay

They wanted to know what you'd chose for personal and work stays.

I put Amazon gift card for work stays and 50 USD F&B credit for personal rates as the top choices, but for personal stays, it depends on the property and length of stay ;)

They of course also wanted to know how many more hotel stays they'll gain by offering these benefits.
