I hope this doesn't mean the hotel category will go up on tandem, and more points required for redemption or C+P :(

Hyatt Regency Incheon to be rebranded Grand Hyatt Incheon with the opening of its new tower

Hyatt Regency Incheon is pleased to announce that the hotel will be rebranded to Grand Hyatt Incheon with the anticipated opening of its new West Tower on September 1, 2014. The rebranded hotel will be the 41st hotel to join the Grand Hyatt brand and the second Grand Hyatt hotel located in South Korea, joining Grand Hyatt Seoul.

Adding to the existing 522 guestrooms in the East Tower, the new West Tower extension will boast 500 new guestrooms, with the two towers connecting via a sky bridge. The hotel will feature 1,022 guestrooms in total, becoming the largest Hyatt hotel outside North America. The West Tower will include many residence-style guestrooms designed for long staying guests with in-room amenities such as kitchens.

A grander ambience and updated facilities will debut with the arrival of the West Tower, including a new 1,250-square-metre Grand Ballroom and multi-dimensional event venues; an all-day-dining Grand Café featuring authentic Western and Asian cuisines; the Swell Lounge where guest can unwind and relax over a beverage; two swimming pools and dedicated children’s play zone.

Hyatt Regency Incheon has been a prime hotel as its location and facility with the growth of Incheon International Airport. With the extensive meeting facilities, large inventory and its proximity to the airport, Grand Hyatt Incheon will offer world-class accommodation and meeting offers for international conferences as well as the highest levels of service.

We look forward to welcoming you to Grand Hyatt Incheon, and to its new and extended facilities with dramatic design, exquisite dining options, innovative and bold meeting and event concepts
