    Hello,

I am trying to make two 90,000 AA Oneworld Explorer award bookings for my in-laws to join my wife and I on an around the world trip next year.

I currently have 70,000 AA miles in my account. I just initiated a transfer of 20,000 from Diners Club to AA to make 90,000. However, I am 90,000 miles short. Do any MilePoint members have 90,000 AA to redeem on my behalf? I would pay all taxes/fees. In return I would be willing to trade for something of value to them

    I have:
US Airways: Will do a 100,000 US Award Redemption
Delta: Have 75k and 25k to make a redemption for them
Marriott:Will Make up to 160k in points redemption for you.

    Private Message me if interested!

    Best regards,

    Beofotch

Did you already buy your annual allotment? 40k this year and another 40k on Jan 1 and you are only about 10k short. (I think it's 40k per year).

Not the cheapest option, but an option none the less.

And then buy Starpoints and convert to miles for the rest.

Sent from my iPhone using milepoint

Until December 31, the limit has been increased to 60k with a 30k bonus. You can buy 90,000 miles for about $1850 all up.

I recommend this option. It brings the cost per mile to a reasonable one.

In your case it also avoids any potential difficulties with a trade or purchase, which is of course prohibited by the T&C and could subject either party to unpleasant experiences. Purchasing the miles gives you one less thing to worry about.

Or you could just fly 45000 miles in the next couple days and have it doubled as a AA elite. I think that's what wijomas would do :)

I have to get a new (WWWD) bracelet and wear it whenever I am thinking of ways to collect more miles/points.

About the redemption swap, always remember Shakespeare, 'Never a giving trader or an accepting trader of miles be, for the miles trade gets both the giver and the receiver in big trouble'.
