    Hi MPs,

I have somehow managed to accumulate 27k flying blue miles from being rerouted on skyteam members by other airlines. Every time this happens my existing miles gets their lifespan extended. Somehow I haven't flown a skyteam member in over a year and maybe I will not be flying them before my miles are set to expire. Are there ways to keep my miles from expiring without flying?

You can usually buy a minimum of miles to keep other miles from expiring. A credit card that earns miles for the acct would work too, but your mileage may vary (ymmv) with your specific plan. When are your miles set to expire?

I looked into this and the least amount you can purchase is 2k for a cost of 53 euro. That is a bit expensive.
I have american express membership rewards points that I could transfer, but I got a little scared when I read this:
Not for another 9 months, so I have time to figure something out.
