Need to know how I can convert my skymiles into US dollar value.
Max to purchased seems to be 60,000 for $2,100 @ $0.035 per point.
I'm not sure if you're trying to get a "value" for your Skymiles for potential trade but if so that is probably illegal.
I really can't imagine anyone paying 3.5 cents apiece for Skypesos in bulk. For a few thousand to round out enough for an award, maybe; but from scratch?
Leaving aside "cost" and looking at value (what a Skymile will buy) would seem to put them at about one cent per mile. And remember, if you're redeeming for international travel, you may have to pay the outrageous "fuel surcharge" as well as the miles. I'd think buying either United or AA miles (at under 3 cents apiece) would be a much better plan.
Buying SM from DL is truly a sucker's game. @JeffRobboStyle laughs so loud when this happens. Rightfully so, IMO.
