Looked throughout SPG and can't come up with an answer.
Can someone give me the pinyin?
North of the US Border, it is simply L> Meridi>n
ai4 mei3 jiu3 dian4 correct?
Right. I got it from the name of the new Le Meridien Taipei.
Of course, Taiwan's version of Mandarin and the Mainland's version of Mandarin in translating names is not necessarily the same but this is much better than saying LE MERIDIAN in English to a cab driver who speaks no English. Thanks again.
If you dig around on the website, I think under location and/or driving directions, you'll probably find the name and address in Chinese that you can download and print. It worked for me at LRM Shanghai, which also had some instructions for where the taxi dropoff is. This was more useful than the cards at the reception desk, so I was glad that I had printed several copies from the website to bring with me, although I do remember having to fiddle to make it print in a large font size.
The website has name of street, what intersection and even what street construction is happening nearby but what it does not have it the NAME of the hotel.
