When choosing ccards how do you know which ones you can churn and which ones you
Read the forums, read the blogs, ask questions.
And continue to do so. Just because a card can be churned today does NOT mean it can be churned in the future. Credit card companies can and do change their rules/guidelines frequently.
Heed the advice above but the general guidelines are that Chase are never churnable. You can only get the bonus for an individual card ONCE in your lifetime. Unless that card changes to a different card or something. Mostly. Most others are generally churnable but you'll need to learn the rules unique to each one--can you get the bonus for another card if you currently have one? (no for most, but yes some), how long to wait after cancelling before you can get another? (usually a year, but varies), etc.
Research &more research and start asking in the blogs as their is a wealth of information here
I am seeing many who just apply for cards, only apply for the ones you can use.
Chase use to give out churns, but it seems they have tightened up, but you can always gave your wife apply and get the perk.
Keep a record, of the old CC, SW has 4 different cards with Chase...
