Out of PHX. Trying to get to UA 1K, need 3,800 EQMs - any suggestions?
    (I'm a newbie!) Thanks.

Quick check on google flights showed PHX-CLT $242 same day turn around in the 4k mileage range.

That's a good one, too. As a West Coast flyer, though, I always appreciate ones like my example above, involving very little movement through time zones.

Same day turn around shouldn't make a huge difference starting west to east I should think. I am east coast so same day turns would still put me coming in late. But it's all about preference.

Concur. I remember booking some SJC/SFO-BOS same-day turns a few years back. They're very long days, and it doesn't really matter which end of the country you start from.

I would think the bigger tradeoff is number of hops rather than timezones. Fewer hops = less time in the air, given the same number of miles. It's hard to get 2000 mile hops without crossing timezones.

Thanks all! I am inclined to take fewer hops as well and get a solid run - PHX CLT is a good one. I appreciate everyone's input!!
