Only one tie-breaker matters ... #40 bid spot. If no one blinks ... (and they will) 40 paces and draw? Highest member status on MilePoint? Who is quickest to the phone-a-friend and can borrow $5. Member that saw "Up In The Air" the most times? I'm not worried, I got ideas.

So time of bid (assuming a tie $ amount for spot #40) wouldn't be the automatic tiebreaker?

And what about preference of Simulator experience (777/320/737)? Would choices be selected in order of bid amount?

    Randy stated:

Quantity: 40 spots available. First registered, first to fly

I assume based on order of original bid, and if bidder is still in the running, that will determine perefence for aircraft

I would hope and assume that the tied bidders would be offered an option to increase their bids, but if the resulting mini-auction drives bids up to the lowest previously winning bid (i.e., #39 if the tie only affects spot #40), then is that person's spot at risk unless they raise their bid? (I like the idea of using MP status as a tiebreaker.)

I think this is utterly preposterous.

Sorry if I forgot to add the appropriate smilie to my post, but this idea is mentioned in Randy's post #2 above in this thread:
