Hotel sacks manager for slamming customers as ‘suckers’ on TripAdvisor

    The Georgian House Hotel in Glasgow has sacked its manager, after he told those leaving negative comments to ‘get real’, with another post reading “Thanks for your money, sucker. Long may the idiot line continue.”

    The budget hotel has a three out of five star rating on the site.

    While TripAdvisor does allow, and even encourage, hotels to respond to reviews, the comments left on the negative reviews were critical of guests and some were insulting.
