I have never booked a room through the Passkey website before - does this count as a qualifying room rate, stay, and earn MR points for those of us who will be working on the next MegaBonus promotion?

Thanks for the assistance - booked Friday night at the official hotel but will have to walk to another hotel Saturday night. Need to pick up a Saturday PriorityClub stay in SFO as part of a different promotion, so Crowne Plaza SFO Airport is the early leader in the clubhouse ;)

I did a dummy booking but it wouldn't tell me the taxes and fees. How much extra per night will taxes and fees add? Need to finalise my budget.

It's CA, so add around 12% & I think you'll be covered. (It's NOT 36% like Kenya, nor 30% like London!)

Friendly reminder that the booking engine will end on Oct 6th so please book your room before then in order to get the preferred rate. There is a big convention (10000+ attendees) in the city and rooms are going for a premium.

Quick question - I checked out of the Marriott on Saturday in order to go to the Crowne Plaza (needed that IHG hotel in SFO for a promotion). Has anyone's Marriott folio posted yet? I don't want to buy points to redeem for a night when my points from the Kiva Do would be sufficient ...

The last time I didn't have a stay credit in three business days, it took almost a month (but I didn't have to call Marriott support).

And a week out (checked out Saturday) with no Marriott credit. I tell you, the company is really good at taunting me; this would give the points for the award redemption I want and give me a free MegaBonus night

    Your patience will be rewarded.:)

Marriott Data Point: I discovered the other day that Marriott charged my cc for a night at the Waterfront even though I had cancelled my stay there and was MRing at Kimpton hotels during DO2. My online account was bereft of any reservations prior to my leaving MIA for the event. Thus, I was surprised to be billed. I called and inquired how this occurred and who was in error. I thould jbcarioca was involved in some mischief. The billing department told me not to worry and the charge would be reversed.

I did stay at the Marriott Waterfront for Do2 and I was quite pleased. I thought the hotel was very nice for an airport hotel, and the complimentary suite upgrade I had made the stay even more enjoyable.

Stayed there last month on an overnight. Nice hotel. Used up 19K useless BA Avios and thought that was a steal until I saw that $139.

And Marriott is still taunting me - no points for my award, no MegaBonus free night ...

18K Avios points ends up as $800 in airfare for someone like me, who lives less than 700 miles from a OneWorld hub. Anything over 4500 Avios is useful.

And Marriott points posted today! I was shorted a bit but did get my MegaBonus night, so that was an ameliorating factor.

ETA: And got an e-mail from Marriott that I may not have been specifically eligible for points due to the direct booking component.

Has anyone received their stay credit/points who checked out on Sunday and booked via the group rate?

I checked out on Saturday on the group rate, sent a missing stay request, then got my points/MegaBonus credits with an e-mail that was essentially "group rates are generally bad":

Of course, I was able to see the pending stay in my Marriott Rewards account until the time of check-in, so the part about system transparency is a bit

As an update (already have my points) - my Marriott Rewards account is set up to send folios via e-mail. I just received a copy from checking out 21 days ago.
