|| Horton hints at American Airlines rebranding ‘very soon’ ||
Hmm not surprised since they got the new livery on the 77W. Looking forward to what will happen unless it's a merger with US.
Dallas WTAA report Jason Whitely tweeted that the expected date of reveal for the new livery is tomorrow: LINK.
Still I wouldn't call this an "interesting development". This is something people have been expecting for months. With the 77W launch just two weeks away, everyone knew this was coming.
Too bad the launch is this late in the year. Otherwise our new elite cards and tags would be based on the new look.
Perhaps that explains why I haven't gotten my new UNITED card yet -- they are actively working on a response to AA's new livery
Honestly, the current elite cards don't match AA's branding/livery at all. But an updated elite card would always be welcome.
The question on every FFer board every time any airline does something .... "WILL THEY MATCH!!?!"
But they did just renewed the current design just approximately 2 years ago if my memory serves correct, which I think still looks ok and fresh.
It was a nice new look, but I'm not overly thrilled with it.
I actually laid out my entire pack of loyalty cards, hotel and airline, a few weeks ago and my friends started rating how attractive they thought each card was. AA's EXP card scored low marks across the board sadly.
Is that a tease? Just posted to FB by AA:
I hope they'll change those horrible looking seats in Economy on their Boeings. They look and feel so outdated.
For all I know that may be a Delta aircraft.
Count the windows -- is it at least a 773?
How about this tease? LINK.
77W looks great inside. Does anyone know which routes will it fly besides DFW-GRU?
JFK-LHR, JFK-GRU, DFW-LHR, and LAX-LHR are the only announced routes to date.
Thanks! JFK-LHR looks very appealing The only problem is that I don't think it's possible to book AA100 on MileSaver Award at 100K RT. It is available though for 200K RT. I found availability further down the road
can't tell, the picture is too dAArk!
Just make sure you're on one of the flights with a 77W listed as the operating aircraft. Not all JFK-LHR routes will feature the new 77W.
That's exactly what I was looking for
Sounds like Thursday it is!
And looks like it will get to DFW deep into the night...
