Hong Kong flights normal despite typhoon:cool:

Cathay Pacific said flights “to and from Hong Kong are currently operating as normal” despite Typhoon Nesat passing over the city and closing much of the territory this morning.

Currently, the Hong Kong Observatory has hoisted the Typhoon 8 signal, which means most offices, schools and the stock market are closed.

The carrier is monitoring the situation and will be updating its website regularly.
According to the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) website, most other flights to and from Hong Kong have also remained unaffected.

I'm currently at the SQ lounge in SIN waiting for my flight to HKG. Hopefully the typhoon has passed and there are no delays nor diversions. :) I checked yesterday the flights from SIN to HKG departed on time but some arrived severely delayed.
