The rooms are smaller due to the original layout and smaller footprint. This also means smaller but excellently appointed bathrooms and small windows. Neither plumbing or elevators were an issue, exceeding expectations. Front desk staff is friendly and very outgoing, great for business and leisure travellers. The Aladdin has a signature sparkling wine welcome and will put a glass in the hand of every body that walks in the door. Platinum perks seemed to be limited to the check-in packet ready to go and a higher floor. The hotel has both a bar and restaurant but given ther proximity to the Power & Light district and better options there, should be avoided. Parking is available in garage across the street, this is the same garage that valet parking uses. Valet comes at a reasonable amount over the garage and comes with in/out privledges, one of the few times that I found valet attractive. Would stay again if I returned to the area.
