We had the opportunity to stay for our second time at this property.

Here are some of our impressions!

    Name: Hilton Madrid

Where is it: Only 5 minutes driving distance from Barajas International Airport

Shuttle bus: Every 15 minutes to the Airport // From the Airport, it was always spot on!

A gorgeous hotel with stunning atrium // design elements arriving with the hotel shuttle bus from T1 within 7 minutes and once again we had a great stay at this outstanding Hilton property.

Check-In: Fast and friendly, instant recognition, booked King Deluxe and got Relaxation room // Corner room // with Jacuzzi and exteme modern design and space.

Diamond benefits: Free water, welcome letter incl. recognition as return guest, Club lounge access, free internet access [ up to 500 MB per voucher ], happy hour with hot items and alcoholic drinks, room upgrade to a relaxation room, a double upgrade, as this room type is listed one notch above the executive room.

Our room: Gorgeous wood flooring, water features by the windows from the outside, views over the entrance, no noise at all. We had also modern furniture, two tables, a large real king size bed with luxury linen bedding, large LCD TV, Mini Bar, free water, the large water bottle in the room marked with a 4 Euro price tag was also given complimentary, without asking! The bathroom was gorgeous too incl. a Jacuzzi bathtub, large and beautiful, shower stall, toilet room with bidet and a glass sink. We enjoyed the oversized Peter Thomas Roth amenities incl. the Massage Bar, soaps, shampoo, hair conditioner, mouth wash and loofah massage sponge.

Everything in the room looked great, modern and well presented. Only the two bedside lamps wouldn't work, but this did not deter us, we had enough other light sources. The internet was fast and efficent. The main working // writing table is hidden behind the bed, so the working area was not in the way to relaxation, as the room type promises. The stylish lounge chair with ottoman was also a real plus. Storage space was ample too, a large safe, mending kit and laundry service plus iron // ironing board were all in the room.

Executive lounge: A modern space with keeping up with the overall hotel theme, white, black and some color splashes. There we found two computers with printers for free, Lavazza coffee offerings all day long, some nuts and other nibbles provided all day long, WSJ and other news papers on offer, plus cold non-alcoholic drinks in the fridge incl. water, sodas, but no juices to our surprise!

The evening brought an attendent plus white // red wines, other drinks, hot dishes and tapas, very good quality and offering. It was busy at this time in the lounge.

Breakfast is not served in the lounge during weekends, so we had the full breakfast buffet in the atrium included as Diamonds. A fantastic setting for breakfast and before catching the shuttle back to the airport. They offered nearly everything we could ever think of eg. smoothies, freshly baked bread, superb cheeses and meats, excellent coffee selection, al a carte offerings incl. French Toast and on and on plus eggs in nearly any way we wanted. Service was good too, but can be very busy.

Overall: A fantastic design-led hotel, a great Hilton. From the shuttle, to the staff encountered, our room, the Executive lounge and the food and drink offerings [ We had room service dinner and this was top notch restaurant quality ], this hotel comes highly recommended.

PS......They offer also shuttle bus services to Madrid with several stops on offer in the Capital City!

PS.......The hotel is also home to a Spa, a Gym and swimming pool plus conference venues.

Would we love to stay here again? YES!

Would we recommend this hotel to a friend? YES!

Thanks for reading and we hope you like our review on MP!:)

Great review! Thanks for sharing. I have been to Madrid on several occasions and, despite being a loyal Hilton family fan, I've never had a chance to stay at a Hilton property there due to other work considerations. I will defintely consider this on my next trip there.
