Just got back from a stay at the Hilton Lima- Miraflores. We arrived around 1AM and were upgraded (Diamond) to an executive floor room. The hotel is quite attractive and is in a nice neighborhood within easy walking distance to the Larcomart shopping center (which, built into the side of a cliff, is pretty cool place) and the cliff-top promenade. The hotel is still fairly new (opened Dec. 2012) and our room was modern, well decorated, and in good condition. As you'll see in the link below, the hotel has a kind of "V" floorplan and our view was of rooms across the airspace. Overall the room was fine for 2 nights, but if I was staying again, I'd probably contact management in advance to talk about upgrades. A room on the outside of the "V" would have been preferable. There is a small, but good, lounge with food and beverage offerings throughout the day. Breakfast was 6:30-11am, snacks 1pm-6pm, light dinner and cocktails from 6pm-10pm. The food offerings were all quite good (for a lounge) and the evening cocktails (self serve bar) were adequate. The rooftop pool is small but attractive and offers a good view over Miraflores. Service in the lounge was friendly and attentive. Full review with photos is here.
