Not on the beach but close by and seems like a great rate. Also no resort fee's which is a plus.

We like the DoubleTree and have found it to be the perfect place for a short (1-3 nights) layover on the way to other islands. It is on a busy road (Ala Moana Blvd) across from Fort DeRussy Park. All of Waikiki is accessible from here as well as Ala Moana Park and the Ala Moana Mall with its interesting APAC fusion food court. I am not aware of any reciprocity with Hilton Hawaiian Village across the street, but they'll be happy to take your money in the shops and restaurants. The beach is fully accessible and the pool and deck are pleasant. The views are quite limited and the rooms are modest, but the staff is friendly and it is a clean and comfortable place to stay.
