The good: · Location, location, location: Nothing beats the Hilton Chicago O'Hare Airport for its convenience and location. The hotel is literally connected to the terminals via a hallway/tunnel. · Well soundproofed: It’s right on the airport property, but the rooms remain quite quiet. The less good: Staff are perfunct at best: This has particularly been my experience with restaurant staff when dining alone. I’ve often felt either ignored or like they were rushing to get me to leave so they could open up the table for a bigger group who is more likely to have a higher ticket and thus bigger tip. No elite recognition: I’ve never had my status recognized. Not verbally by the desk. Not with any sort of upgrade. Not with a welcome amenity. I have gotten my room preference most times, but that’s it.
