Hertz has added 55 ExpressRent touchscreen kiosks throughout New York City.

The kiosks have a touchscreen interface and a second screen that allows customers to interact directly with live customer service agents via video to pick up or book rentals.

The kiosks supplement Hertz's 15 retail store locations, for a combined total of 70 Hertz car rental locations in New York City. Hertz plans to expand to more than 100 kiosk locations in early 2014.

Interesting. They do not mention where the kiosk will be. although, I find Hertz to be more expensive than AVIS. Especially for a day or short rental compared to Zip Car.

They are the most expensive but I find their loyalty program to be best for me. To help keep costs down, I use my 10% Delta FF discount and try to pre-pay or use discount codes wherever applicable.
