I've been updating this thread (LINK) with the stories...quite insane...
wow! i just cannot win. (yes, i know it is not all about me. ) but every time i have a trip planned to the UK, someone is on strike over there. LOL! between baggage handlers, train or tube strikes, and now the immigration people, i keep wondering how they are going to handle the numbers coming in for the Olympics.
No problem! Just reduce the numbers by not processing so many. Will that work?
This is so sad. I wish it were unusual.
One of my colleagues came back from DC during the last immigration staff and it was one of his most painless experiences. Hopefully, you will have the same!
thanks, i am ever hopeful. LHR is certainly not as bad as CDG, so i consider that a win for me.
For connecting, I agree, but I've never had the problems at immigration (long, long queues) in France that I find at LHR...
