    Presidents do a lot of travel during their years in office. While many presidents have traveled internationally to some degree before taking office, the bulk of their international travel comes during their presidency. Fortunately, with the advent of Air Force One, these trips do not take quite as long as they used to. The longest international travel trip by a president was before the airplane and was done by Woodrow Wilson with his seven month trip to Europe after World War I! Presidents Bush and Clinton both visited 74 countries each during their terms. President Obama is currently at 45 countries during his presidency – 34 in the first term and 11 so far into his second.
