    Aren't most full fare cross-country economy flights around $1,000? Doesn't seem like a terrible deal.

    yeah if you don't shop and wait till the last minute

    I don't buy 750 dollar transcons

    Even if I use a RT domestic award the value is probably around $400~ max

    Why use full fare, what makes you think that anyone who uses this would need a full fare? it wouldn't have the full fare benefits would it?
